Description

Zucchini Noodles, also known as Zoodles, are a healthy, low-carb alternative to traditional pasta made from spiralized zucchini. They’re quick to prepare and can be served raw or lightly cooked.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the ends of the zucchinis.
  2. Spiralize the zucchinis into noodle shapes using a spiralizer or julienne peeler.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the zucchini noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes, tossing frequently, until slightly tender but still crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the zoodles to prevent them from becoming soggy.
  • You can serve the zoodles raw for an even crunchier texture.
  • Pair with your favorite pasta sauce or protein for a complete meal.
