Description

A refreshing and antioxidant-rich smoothie combining wild blueberries, creamy vanilla, and energizing matcha for a healthy start to the day.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla-flavored or plain with a splash of vanilla extract)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for thicker consistency)

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen wild blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, matcha powder, and vanilla extract (if using) to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup if desired, and blend again briefly to combine.
  4. Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a thicker smoothie, and blend again until smooth.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt with a dairy-free alternative to make it vegan.
  • Use fresh blueberries if frozen are not available, but reduce the almond milk slightly.
  • Adjust matcha to taste; start with 1/2 tsp if you’re new to it.
