- 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla-flavored or plain with a splash of vanilla extract)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt)
- Ice cubes (optional, for thicker consistency)
Instructions
- Add the frozen wild blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, matcha powder, and vanilla extract (if using) to a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Add honey or maple syrup if desired, and blend again briefly to combine.
- Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a thicker smoothie, and blend again until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute Greek yogurt with a dairy-free alternative to make it vegan.
- Use fresh blueberries if frozen are not available, but reduce the almond milk slightly.
- Adjust matcha to taste; start with 1/2 tsp if you’re new to it.
