- 1 whole wheat flatbread
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1–2 fresh tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the whole wheat flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Brush the flatbread with olive oil.
- Arrange tomato slices evenly over the flatbread.
- Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano if using.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
- Slice and serve warm.
