Description

A refreshing and hydrating summer slushie made with fresh watermelon, mint, and lime—perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes in a high-speed blender.
  2. Add fresh lime juice, honey or agave syrup (if using), mint leaves, and cold water.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Add a few ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime to preference.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately, garnished with mint sprigs or lime wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Freeze watermelon cubes in advance for at least 3–4 hours.
  • For an adult version, a splash of rum or vodka can be added.
  • Use agave syrup for a vegan-friendly option.
