Description

The Vanilla Rose Tea Latte is a soothing, aromatic beverage infused with the subtle floral essence of rose and the warmth of real vanilla. Perfect for a calm morning or an afternoon treat, this beautiful drink is a luxurious café-style experience you can enjoy at home—hot or iced.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon loose leaf black tea or 1 black tea bag
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried food-grade rose petals (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative (e.g., oat, almond, or coconut)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract + 1 tsp sweetener
  • Optional: rose syrup for stronger floral flavor
  • Ice (if serving iced)

Instructions

  • In a small pot, bring water to a simmer. Add tea and rose petals. Steep for 5–7 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a mug or glass.
  • In a separate saucepan, heat the milk and whisk in vanilla syrup until frothy.
  • Pour the frothed milk over the rose-infused tea.
  • For iced: cool the tea, pour over ice, then add cold frothed milk.
  • Garnish with a few rose petals and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use food-grade dried rose petals only.
  • Adjust sweetness with more or less syrup to your preference.
  • Add a splash of rose syrup for deeper floral notes, especially in iced versions.
  • Great with green tea as a base, too!
