- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 large egg
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Valentine sprinkles
- 1 tub Duncan Hines white frosting
- 1/4 cup Valentine sprinkles (for decorating)
- 1 tbsp candy hearts and/or red M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line the bottom of an 8×8-inch nonstick baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine sugar, butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until a soft dough forms. Fold in Valentine sprinkles.
- Bake: Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cookie base cool completely.
- Frost and Decorate: Spread white frosting evenly over the cooled cookie base using the back of a spoon or a butter knife. Top with Valentine sprinkles, candy hearts, and red M&Ms.
- Cut and Serve: Slice into 2-inch bars and enjoy!
