Description

Tahini Cacao Power Bites are nutrient-dense, no-bake snacks made with tahini, dates, cacao, and seeds. They offer a healthy energy boost, perfect for on-the-go snacking or post-workout recovery.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut (plus more for rolling)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place the pitted dates in a food processor and pulse until they form a paste.
  2. Add tahini, cacao powder, chia seeds, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  3. Process until well combined and a sticky dough forms.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  5. Roll each ball in additional shredded coconut, if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Notes

  • You can substitute tahini with almond or peanut butter.
  • Add a tablespoon of maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Try rolling the bites in cocoa powder or crushed nuts for variety.
