Description

A light and hydrating beverage made with strawberries, mint, and chia seeds—perfect for a refreshing, healthy boost.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup (if using), and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into a pitcher or jar. Add the remaining 1 cup of water and chia seeds. Stir well to combine.
  4. Add the mint leaves and refrigerate for at least 20–30 minutes to allow the chia seeds to expand and flavors to infuse.
  5. Stir well before serving and pour over ice. Garnish with extra mint or sliced strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint before adding it.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey to make it vegan.
