Description

These flaky, golden hand pies are filled with sweet strawberry pie filling and topped with a delicious glaze. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 2 boxes refrigerated pie crusts (14.1 oz each)
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 beaten egg white

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll & Cut Dough:

    • On a floured surface, roll out the pie crusts.
    • Use a round cookie cutter to cut dough circles.
  • Fill & Seal the Hand Pies:

    • Spoon strawberry pie filling onto half of the dough circles.
    • Brush edges with beaten egg white and place another dough circle on top.
    • Press the edges with a fork to seal.
  • Bake:

    • Place hand pies on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Brush tops with egg white for a golden finish.
    • Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
    • Transfer to a wire rack to cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Glaze:

    • In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
    • Drizzle the glaze over the slightly cooled pies and let it set for 10 minutes.
