Description

Strawberry covered chocolates are a simple yet elegant dessert made by dipping fresh strawberries in melted chocolate, perfect for romantic occasions or sweet treats.

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (about 20 strawberries)
  • 8 ounces semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • White chocolate or sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Ensure they are completely dry before dipping.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about 3/4 of the berry.
  5. Place the dipped strawberry onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate or add sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  7. Refrigerate the strawberries for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
