Description

This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is a fruity, creamy, and ultra-easy dessert! With layers of strawberry pie filling, cheesecake, and golden cake mix, it’s the perfect quick treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Cake:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced into thin pats

Instructions

  • Prep the Dish:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • Layer the Ingredients:
    • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
    • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry pie filling.
    • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top, ensuring it’s fully covered.
    • Arrange the butter pats evenly on top of the cake mix.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
    • Let the cake cool slightly before serving to allow the flavors to set.

Notes

  • You can substitute the strawberry pie filling with blueberry or peach for a different flavor twist!
  • If you want a more decadent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
  • For a crispy, crumbly topping, try using a bit of brown sugar mixed with the cake mix.
