- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Prepare oven and pan: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- Mix eggs and sugar: In a large bowl, beat eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Combine dry ingredients: Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gently fold this mixture into the egg batter until smooth.
- Bake the cake: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake springs back when touched.
- Roll the cake: Sprinkle powdered sugar on the warm cake and invert it onto a clean kitchen towel. Roll the cake with the towel (starting from a short end) and let it cool completely.
- Fill with cream and strawberries: Unroll the cooled cake, spread whipped cream over the surface, and layer with sliced strawberries.
- Roll and chill: Gently roll the cake back up (without the towel). Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve and enjoy: Slice the cake and serve chilled.
