Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet

Ingredients (Serves 4-6):
– 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini for best sauce absorption)
– 1 lb sausage (Italian, smoked, or chicken sausage), sliced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Cook the Pasta:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
3. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Sausage:
1. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.

Combine Everything:
1. Add the cooked pasta into the skillet.
2. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
3. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish & Serve:
1. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
