  • For Topping
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and mix until a dough forms.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide dough into 8 equal portions. Flatten each into a circle.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with chives, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Place a teaspoon of the chive cream mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold edges over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
  • Place stuffed dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Bake for 25-27 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the dough edges are well-sealed to prevent filling from leaking during baking.
  • Fresh herbs can be substituted with dried ones; use one-third the amount.
  • These bites can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
