Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For the Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • For the Filling
  • 5 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Topping
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add Greek yogurt and stir until dough forms.
  • Knead dough on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes. Divide into 8 pieces and flatten each into a small circle.
  • In another bowl, mix cream cheese with dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
  • Add a teaspoon of filling to the center of each dough circle, then fold and seal to form balls.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
  • Bake for 25-27 minutes or until golden. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure edges are sealed tightly to prevent cream cheese from leaking.
  • You can substitute dried herbs for fresh ones using one-third the amount.
  • These can be prepped in advance and reheated in the oven before serving.
