Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out each puff pastry sheet and cut into 4 equal squares, yielding 8 squares total.
- Place a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square and top with a few mixed berries.
- Fold the corners of each square towards the center, pinching them together to form a blossom shape.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
