- 1 oz triple sec (orange liqueur)
- 2 oz mango puree or juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave syrup or simple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 2–3 slices of fresh jalapeño or a pinch of chili powder
- Tajín or chili salt for rimming
- Ice cubes
- Mango slice, lime wedge, or jalapeño ring for garnish
Instructions
- Rim a glass with lime juice and dip in Tajín or chili salt. Set aside.
- In a shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices (or add chili powder).
- Add tequila, triple sec, mango puree, lime juice, and syrup.
- Fill with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass over ice.
- Garnish with mango, lime, or a jalapeño ring.
