- 2 lbs frozen fully cooked meatballs (beef, chicken, or turkey)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Place meatballs in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Pour sauce over the top and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, stirring once halfway through.
- Optional: For a thicker sauce, stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water) during the last 30 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
