Description

Take your snacking to the next level with this creamy and flavorful Rotel Ranch Dip! Loaded with ranch seasoning, tangy sour cream, Rotel tomatoes, green chilies, and a cheesy blend, this party-perfect dip is a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional, for extra kick)

Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Base:

  • In a large mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.

2️⃣ Add Ranch Seasoning:

  • Stir in the ranch seasoning mix. For extra spice, add hot sauce to taste.

3️⃣ Fold in Rotel:

  • Thoroughly drain the Rotel tomatoes and green chilies to avoid a watery dip. Gently fold them into the mixture.

4️⃣ Add the Cheese:

  • Stir in shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses until evenly combined.

5️⃣ Chill:

  • Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

6️⃣ Serve:

  • Serve chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, fresh veggies, or your favorite dippers. Garnish with extra cheese or diced jalapeños for presentation.

Notes

  • Creamier Dip: Add extra sour cream or a splash of milk.
  • More Heat: Include chopped jalapeños or a few extra dashes of hot sauce.
  • Milder Version: Skip the hot sauce and reduce the Rotel for a subtler flavor.
  • Make Ahead: Prepare the dip a day in advance for enhanced flavors.
