Description

Festive and colorful layered Jello cups featuring red, white, and blue layers, perfect for patriotic holidays like the 4th of July.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry or cherry Jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) berry blue Jello
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 1/4 cups water, divided
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh berries (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water and mix with the red Jello until dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Pour red Jello evenly into clear plastic or glass cups. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  3. In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 3/4 cup boiling water to the gelatin mixture and stir until dissolved.
  5. Mix in 1 cup sweetened condensed milk and let cool to room temperature.
  6. Pour the white layer over the red Jello. Refrigerate for another hour or until set.
  7. Boil 1 cup of water and mix with the blue Jello until dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
  8. Pour blue Jello over the white layer and refrigerate until completely set, about 2 hours.
  9. Top with whipped cream and berries before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use clear cups to showcase the vibrant layers.
  • Ensure each layer is fully set before adding the next to avoid mixing colors.
  • You can make these a day ahead and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
