Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, water, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in broccoli florets and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli.
  • Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil if using.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version.
