- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, water, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in broccoli florets and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli.
- Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Drizzle with sesame oil if using.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
