Description

This Candy Mojito is a playful and refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) that blends mint, lime, and soda with the sweet, fruity flavors of crushed candy. It’s perfect for parties, themed nights, or anyone who loves a little sugar rush with their sip. Sweet, fizzy, and totally unique!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or use crushed candy like Skittles or Jolly Ranchers)
  • 2 oz white rum (omit for a mocktail)
  • 1/2 cup club soda or lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Crushed hard candies (e.g. Jolly Ranchers, Life Savers, or Skittles)
  • Candy stick, lime slice, and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • In a glass, muddle the mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar or crushed candy.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Add white rum (if using).
  • Top with club soda or lemon-lime soda.
  • Stir gently to combine and dissolve the candy a bit more.
  • Garnish with a candy stick, lime wedge, and mint sprig.
  • Serve immediately for a sweet, minty treat!

Notes

  • Use lemon-lime soda for extra sweetness.
  • Crush candies ahead of time for easier mixing.
  • For a colorful swirl, layer crushed candies at the bottom before pouring soda.
  • Makes a great mocktail by skipping the rum!
