Description

  • Optional Orange Glaze:
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan or 8-inch round pan.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients:
  • In another bowl, whisk sugars, eggs, oil, orange juice, zest, yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Combine & Bake:
  • Add dry ingredients to wet and stir until just combined. Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes (loaf) or 30–35 minutes (round), or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Glaze (Optional):
  • Whisk powdered sugar with orange juice and zest. Drizzle over cooled cake.
