Description

This One Pot Creamy Ground Beef Pasta is a weeknight dream come true! Made in one pot with tender pasta, savory ground beef, and a luscious creamy tomato sauce, this dish is hearty, comforting, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or elbows)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if needed)

Instructions

  • In a large pot or deep skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add diced onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in beef broth, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir occasionally.
  • Stir in heavy cream and cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat if desired.
  • Add spinach or peas for a veggie boost.
  • Use milk instead of cream for a lighter version.
