In a large mixing bowl, blend shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Fold in chopped nuts if desired. - Shape the Balls:
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes. - Prepare the Chocolate:
