Description

Mini Caprese Skewers are a fresh and simple appetizer made with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and basil leaves. Perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  2. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat dry.
  3. On each skewer or toothpick, thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf (folded if large), and one mozzarella ball.
  4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and optional balsamic glaze.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • You can refrigerate the skewers for up to 2 hours before serving.
  • Try different types of small tomatoes for variety in color and flavor.
