- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers or toothpicks
Instructions
- Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
- Drain the mozzarella balls and pat dry.
- On each skewer or toothpick, thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf (folded if large), and one mozzarella ball.
- Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with olive oil and optional balsamic glaze.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- You can refrigerate the skewers for up to 2 hours before serving.
- Try different types of small tomatoes for variety in color and flavor.
- Use flavored olive oil or add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning for extra taste.
