Description

Matcha strawberries are a simple and elegant snack made by coating fresh strawberries with a rich, slightly bitter matcha-infused white chocolate. A perfect balance of sweet and earthy flavors.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried thoroughly

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Ensure they are completely dry before dipping.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Sift the matcha powder into the melted white chocolate and stir until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the matcha white chocolate, coating evenly.
  5. Place the coated strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry or the chocolate will not adhere properly.
  • Use high-quality matcha for the best flavor and color.
  • You can add a bit of coconut oil to the chocolate to make it smoother for dipping.
