Description

A refreshing and unique cocktail blending the earthy flavors of matcha green tea with the bright citrus notes of a classic gin sour.


Ingredients

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 egg white (optional, for frothiness)
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist or matcha powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, matcha powder, and egg white if using.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 15 seconds to froth the egg white.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist or a light dusting of matcha powder.
