Description

Fudgy and rich brownies infused with earthy matcha green tea powder, offering a unique twist on the classic dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth and light.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, matcha powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
