- 2 black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf tea)
- 1 ripe mango (or frozen mango cubes)
- 4 cups water (divided)
- 2 tbsp honey
- Ice
Instructions
Brew the Tea:
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and steep the tea bags in a large pitcher for about 10 minutes.
2. Prepare the Mango Puree:
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and diced mango. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Mash the mango to create a puree.
3. Combine Ingredients:
- Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea. Add honey and stir well.
4. Cool and Serve:
- Let the tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate. Serve over ice with mango slices for garnish.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or a few mint leaves.
