Description

Beat the heat with Mango Iced Tea—a refreshing blend of black tea and tropical mango sweetness. Perfect for summer afternoons or as a thirst-quenching treat, this drink is easy to make and full of flavor!


Ingredients

  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf tea)
  • 1 ripe mango (or frozen mango cubes)
  • 4 cups water (divided)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Ice

Instructions

 Brew the Tea:

  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and steep the tea bags in a large pitcher for about 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the Mango Puree:

  • In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and diced mango. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Mash the mango to create a puree.

3. Combine Ingredients:

  • Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea. Add honey and stir well.

4. Cool and Serve:

  • Let the tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate. Serve over ice with mango slices for garnish.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or a few mint leaves.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
