Description

A quick and easy method to make perfectly fluffy jasmine rice using an Instant Pot. Ideal for a fast side dish or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  5. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure manually.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.

Notes

  • You can double or triple the recipe without changing the cooking time.
  • Use a 1:1 rice-to-water ratio for best results.
  • Natural pressure release is key to avoid soggy rice.
