Description

A refreshing and naturally sweet iced tea made with hibiscus flowers and ripe peaches, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add hibiscus flowers and sliced peaches.
  3. Let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove solids.
  5. Stir in honey or sweetener if using, until dissolved.
  6. Add 2 cups of cold water to the pitcher and mix well.
  7. Refrigerate until chilled, about 1-2 hours.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • You can blend the peaches before steeping for a more intense flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
