  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the glaze. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until fully coated and sticky.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot with rice or veggies.
