Description

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)
- Chopped parsley or green onions, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Optional: Add cornstarch slurry and simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return salmon to the pan and spoon glaze over the top.
- Garnish and serve with lemon wedges and your favorite side dish.
