Description

A simple and delicious homemade strawberry milk made with fresh strawberries, milk, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a refreshing drink or a nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Blend until smooth to create a strawberry puree.
  2. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
  3. In a glass or pitcher, mix the strawberry puree with the milk and vanilla extract if using.
  4. Stir well to combine and chill in the refrigerator before serving, or serve over ice.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of the strawberries.
  • Use plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
  • For a thicker consistency, use whole milk or add a splash of cream.
