- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup mixed fruits (berries, kiwi, mango, etc.), chopped for ice cubes
- 1–2 cups water (for making fruit cubes)
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare fruit cubes by placing chopped mixed fruits into an ice cube tray, fill with water, and freeze until solid (about 4 hours or overnight).
- In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
- Refrigerate the lemonade until chilled.
- When ready to serve, add fruit ice cubes to glasses and pour lemonade over them.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
- Honey or agave syrup can replace sugar for a natural sweetener.
- Try different fruits for variety and color.
- Chill the pitcher before serving to keep the lemonade cold longer.
