Description

Soft, buttery biscuit bombs bursting with melty mozzarella cheese, infused with garlicky goodness and Italian seasoning. Perfect for appetizers, snacks, or party treats!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Dough: 1 (16 oz) container refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • Cheese: 4 ounces mozzarella cheese (shredded or diced string cheese)
  • Butter Mixture:
    • 4 tablespoons melted butter (half a stick)
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Assemble the Cheese Bombs

  1. Open the biscuit dough and separate into 8 biscuits. Flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
  2. Place a piece of mozzarella in the center of each circle.
  3. Fold the edges of the dough up around the cheese and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.

Step 3: Arrange on the Baking Sheet

  • Place the cheese-filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 4: Brush with Garlic Butter

  1. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Brush the tops of each biscuit bomb generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Step 5: Bake

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.

Step 6: Serve

  • Serve warm, either on their own or with a dipping sauce like marinara or ranch. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Seal Well: Ensure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent cheese from leaking out while baking.
  • Cheese Choice: Use your favorite cheese like cheddar or pepper jack for variety.
  • Dip Away: Pair with marinara, garlic aioli, or even honey for dipping.
