Scale
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz burrata cheese
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cornmeal or flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the peach halves with olive oil and grill for 2–3 minutes per side until grill marks form. Slice grilled peaches and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface or parchment paper to desired thickness. Sprinkle cornmeal on the baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared surface. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Arrange grilled peach slices on top of the mozzarella.
- Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, tear the burrata into pieces and place on top of the hot pizza.
- Season with salt and pepper, add fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best grilling results.
- Burrata should be added after baking to preserve its creamy texture.
- For extra flavor, add prosciutto or arugula.
