- 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken tenders in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and discard excess marinade.
- Grill chicken tenders for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and grill marks appear.
- Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute Dijon mustard with yellow mustard for a milder flavor.
- These chicken tenders are great served with a fresh salad or over rice.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
