Description

A classic grilled cheeseburger made with juicy beef patties, melted cheese, and your favorite toppings, perfect for a summer cookout.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing grill)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Onion slices
  • Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
  3. Season each patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Place patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  6. Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill if desired.
  7. Assemble burgers by placing the lettuce, tomato, grilled patty with cheese, pickles, and onions on the buns.
  8. Add condiments of choice and serve immediately.
