Description

Delicious and creamy Green Tea Matcha Hot Chocolate Bombs that melt in your cup to release rich white chocolate and matcha flavors, perfect for a cozy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/4 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Using a silicone sphere mold, spoon melted white chocolate into each cavity, spreading evenly on the sides to create a shell.
  3. Place the mold in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to set.
  4. Once set, gently remove the chocolate shells from the mold.
  5. Mix the matcha powder with the hot cocoa mix.
  6. Fill half of the chocolate shells with a teaspoon of the matcha hot cocoa mix and a few mini marshmallows.
  7. Warm a plate slightly and place the empty half shells on it to melt the edges.
  8. Quickly seal the filled halves with the melted edges of the empty shells to form complete spheres.
  9. Chill the sealed bombs in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.
  10. Serve by dropping a bomb into a mug of hot milk and stirring until melted and combined.
  11. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
