- 500g (1 lb) cremini or button mushrooms, sliced

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms, salt, pepper, and thyme. Sauté until mushrooms are golden and moisture has evaporated, about 8–10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Mix in half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
