- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- Gel food coloring (green, purple, or any monster hue)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate
- Candy eyeballs (assorted sizes for fun effect)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, and eggs until a thick dough forms.
- Add food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Scoop 1.5-tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheet.
- Gently press a few candy eyeballs on top of each ball.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set and centers are still soft (they’ll continue to set as they cool).
- Let cool for 5 minutes on the pan before transferring to a rack.
Notes
- Use different food coloring for a monster variety pack.
- Do not overbake — they’re meant to be gooey!
- Press extra candies or eyeballs on top right after baking for extra cuteness.
