- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Can be cooked on a stovetop grill pan if an outdoor grill is not available.
- Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
