Description

Juicy grilled chicken breasts marinated in a flavorful garlic and Parmesan cheese mixture, perfect for summer barbecues or a hearty weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Can be cooked on a stovetop grill pan if an outdoor grill is not available.
  • Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
