- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread shrimp onto skewers if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand.
- Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
