Description

A refreshing and vibrant frozen drink made with strawberries and fresh basil, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold water or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Combine frozen strawberries, basil leaves, lemon juice, and honey (if using) in a blender.
  2. Add cold water or sparkling water and a few ice cubes.
  3. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or basil amount if desired.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a basil leaf or strawberry slice if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries if frozen are not available, and add extra ice.
  • Mint can be substituted for basil for a different flavor.
