Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips or sprinkles if using.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
