Description

This Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup is a decadent no-bake dessert layered with crispy kataifi pastry tossed in pistachio cream, fresh strawberries, and rich melted chocolate. Inspired by viral Middle Eastern flavors, it’s a showstopper perfect for parties or indulgent moments.

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pistachio butter or cream
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (optional)

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark or milk)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • For Assembly:
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
  • Ground pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Kataifi:
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add chopped kataifi and cook, stirring constantly, until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from heat and mix with pistachio butter (and tahini if using). Cool slightly.
  • Make the Chocolate Drizzle:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second bursts until smooth.
  • Assemble the Cups:
  • In clear dessert glasses, layer strawberry halves, drizzle with chocolate, and add a spoonful of the kataifi-pistachio mixture.
  • Repeat layers as desired. Top with more chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of ground pistachios.
  • Chill and Serve:
  • Chill for 10–15 minutes to set or serve immediately for a warm chocolate drizzle experience.
