- 3 tbsp butter (divided into 6 slices)

Instructions

- Generously butter an 8×8-inch casserole dish.
- Spread the entire bag of Simply Potatoes evenly into the dish.
Step 2: Make the Cheese Sauce

- Combine milk, whipping cream, salt, mustard, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Whisk continuously until the mixture is nearly boiling.
- Reduce the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 3: Combine Potatoes and Sauce
- Pour the creamy cheese sauce evenly over the potatoes in the casserole dish.
- Let the dish cool slightly before proceeding.
Step 4: Add Butter and Paprika
- Dot the top of the casserole with butter slices.
