- 1 package (2 sheets) puff pastry (thawed)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- Optional Fillings:
- Sweet: Nutella, jam, cream cheese, or cinnamon sugar
- Savory: Cheese, pesto, or ham
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a thin rectangle.
- Step 2: Add the Filling & Roll
- Brush the pastry with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar (or add desired filling).
- Tightly roll the pastry into a log and cut it lengthwise into two strips.
- Roll each strip into a spiral and place it into a muffin tin cup.
- Step 3: Bake the Cruffins
- Repeat with the second sheet of pastry.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Step 4: Coat & Serve
- While warm, roll in cinnamon sugar or dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve fresh and enjoy!
