Description

These Delicious Cruffins are a perfect combination of a croissant and a muffin—flaky, buttery, and filled with your favorite sweet or savory flavors. Made with store-bought puff pastry, they are incredibly easy to bake at home!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (2 sheets) puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Optional Fillings:
  • Sweet: Nutella, jam, cream cheese, or cinnamon sugar
  • Savory: Cheese, pesto, or ham

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Dough
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  • Lightly flour a surface and roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a thin rectangle.
  • Step 2: Add the Filling & Roll
  • Brush the pastry with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar (or add desired filling).
  • Tightly roll the pastry into a log and cut it lengthwise into two strips.
  • Roll each strip into a spiral and place it into a muffin tin cup.
  • Step 3: Bake the Cruffins
  • Repeat with the second sheet of pastry.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 4: Coat & Serve
  • While warm, roll in cinnamon sugar or dust with powdered sugar.
  • Serve fresh and enjoy!
